Should we translate our website & documents using Google Translate?

Google Translate and other free translation tools have a 12% to 15% error rate in their translations. This might be acceptable for informal content.

But, if you are translating formal documents then using Google Translate could create misunderstandings and legal issues due to incorrect translations.

Moreover, we tested Google Translate with a short paragraph so we could assess its quality. TLDR: Google Translate is okay for internal / informal content, but not for customer facing content.
